Eleven players soared from outside the top 150 into the top 100 in Wednesday's update of the 2025 Top247 rankings, headlined by new five-star Jerome Myles, a hyper-athletic receiver out of Draper (Utah) Corner Canyon. Myles, an Ole Miss commit, leads off this breakdown of big risers and noteworthy newcomers in the latest edition of the Top247.

2025 Top247 update: New 5-star Jerome Myles highlights big risers, newcomers (2)

NO. 31 — JEROME MYLES, WR (OLE MISS COMMIT)

Myles jumped more than 160 spots into our top-32, first-round projections. A stoutly built pass catcher pushing 6-foot-2 and 200-plus pounds, Myles recently ran a blistering 10.36-second 100-meter time, along with a similarly impressive 20.84-second 200-meter dash — tied for the fastest 100 and alone atop the 200-meter ledger among Top247 prospects.

Myles suffered an ankle injury as a junior but returned to produce huge playoff numbers, including a five-catch, 122-yard and two-touchdown performance in a Utah 6A state championship game victory. Myles is also one of the youngest prospects in the 2025 recruiting cycle.

2025 Top247 update: New 5-star Jerome Myles highlights big risers, newcomers (3)

NO. 38 —VERNELL BROWN III, WR

Riding a rise of more than 130 spots,Brownjumped into the top 40. Not only did Brown post a 10.91-second 100-meter dash and 21-foot-5 1/2 long jump this spring, but the son of a formerFloridadefensive back also impressed in live exposure at theOvertime OT7 Orlandoevent.

"The utility man at Orlando (Fla.) Jones is looking more and more like one of the top slot receivers in the 2025 cycle," said Andrew Ivins, 247Sports director of scouting.

NO. 42 —ADONYSS CURRIE, CB

Lancaster (Calif.) Quartz Hill's Currie — an almost 150-spot riser — represents the frame/athleticism combination schools covet, as noted by Ivins, who recently referred to the 6-foot-1 cover man as "a reactionary cornerback with the ideal blend of length and speed."

Currie's height and length make him a tough man-press matchup, and his speed — multiple 10.5-second 100-meter reps and a 21.07-second 200-meter dash — allows him recovery juice when necessary.

NO. 52 —JONANTHONY HALL, WR

Hall represents the most meteoric rise within the Top247, going from a previous seventh-round projection more than 170 spots to mid-second round at No. 52. Hall's multisport athletic profile fuels his rise. Not only does he own elite long jump data (23-foot-3), the Fishers (Ind.) standout is a dynamic basketball player who averaged 11 points, four rebounds and three assists with open-floor finishing ability and sport-specific skill.

"An ideal multisport profile with the tape that shows plenty of promise as an inside-out, smooth-moving chain-extender and yards-after-catch demon," said Hudson Standish, 247Sports national scouting analyst.

NO. 97 —TALYN TAYLOR, WR

Our highest-ranked newcomer to the Top247, Taylor jumped from a four-star 90 rating outside the Top247 into the top 100 nationally. The Geneva (Ill.) Community wideout earned that four-star label more than a year ago, but his recent performances on theUnder Armour Next Tour and Overtime OT7 Orlandoeventfueled his significant rise.

"In both settings, Taylor displayed explosive cuts at the top of his routes and the ability to create separation at the line of scrimmage," Ivins said.
